| 1. Why is there a waiting list and when will it be lifted? |

There is a waiting list due to current spending patterns and the limited amount of funds received from the state and Smart Start. Some clients may be assisted from the waiting list if enough additional funding is received to serve all current children with additional funds remaining. |
| 2. How are parent fees figured? |
Parent fees are figured according to your monthly gross income and the number of household members in the income unit. For 1-3 members we figure 10% of your income, 4-5 is 9%, and 6-12 is 8%. |
