Text Box: Transportation Services Section (910) 677-2526 or (910) 677-2533 The Adult Services Division Transportation Section provides medical transportation to authorized Medicaid eligible recipients. Transportation is also provided for children in foster care as needed. Listed below are the different methods of service delivery.   Direct Transportation FAST Vans Transporting Company Out of Town Van & Vehicles A private fee table has been set up for those needing to ride the out of town van and are not eligible to ride under the Medicaid program.  Interested parties should contact the Transportation Section for further information or to fill out an application.  All Medicaid recipients must be accessed for need to become eligible for transportation.  Contact your Medicaid caseworker for an assessment.  After being accessed, please call the Transportation Section at (910) 677-2526 or 677-2533 to request services.  A five-day notice is preferred.  Any questions related to Department of Social services transportation should be directed to the telephone numbers above.
